This place is amazing best place to get your barbacoa for your Saturday and Sunday fix and the people running the place are wonderful,nice and respectful I love this place thank you for the best barbacoa in San Antonio tx this is my whole family go to place and I tell everyone about this place, so don't be scared to say it loud and proud that this is the best barbacoa place in the sa tone :)
For years and years I have enjoyed the #1 a pound of pure meat with the basics. This place is consistently delicious service is fast and efficient sometimes being asked before the person in front is just moving out of the way. The little location is always clean and organized. This is a great place to start Sundays!
This place is our family go to maybe every other weekend. We have been coming here for years and the quality and consistency has always been the same. This is a great family owned business that needs to be acknowledged and supported.
I do not have any places in my immediate area that have any barbacoa or any good barbacoa. I am honestly thinking about starting a Molino myself. I however was craving some good 'ol barbacoa and tamales like my mom used to get us when I was a young boy. I got in the car and went to my old neighborhood out on Nacogdoches road and Trevino's was still there. I ordered some all meat and a half dozen tamales. I enjoyed both. The tamales masa were very light and fluffy. The barbacoa didn't have a lot of cevo (gristle) and was very flavorful. I attempted once to make barbacoa in the crock pot not as easy as you may think to make it flavorful. All in all still a place we would recommend. We just wish it was closer.
Weekend spot for authentic barbacoa. Super yum and be ready for the line. Get up early because when it's gone there is no more until next weekend. Rule 267- where there's a line, gots to be good!

Very friendly, I chatted with the owner (Jesse). Carnitas was my favorite, some of the best I have ever had. Juicy and fatty. Of course the Barbacoa (all meat) was good too. Only critique I'd give is the salsa wasn't very spicy, but I had my own Habaneros here at home to spice up the tacos!

With great prices and excellent customer service, you'll come home to a pound of all meat barbacoa and legit menudo for under 20.00! This barbacoa is full of flavor and the kind of grease that drips down the side of your hand. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, then this isn't the place for you. Fat is where its at and it's only once a week that you'll eat this anyways..lol. They also sell tortillas, big red (that's a must), and avocados to go with your barbacoa. The store is small, but super clean and had now made me a new customer! I would definitely make my way back here on a Sunday morning!
